Description	In 1931, Utah joined Six Companies Inc. to raise the surety required to bid for the Boulder (Hoover) Dam contract. One of the world’s largest dams, Hoover Dam was completed in 1936 at a cost of $49 million. These scrapbooks document through photographs the construction of the dam showcasing UCC'; s part in its creation.

August 19th, 1932. 1398 A panel made up of snap-shots of Six Companies Inc. Directors, taken at various times when they were visiting the Hoover Dam project. August 6th, 1932. 1392 Largest pneumatic tires manufactured are used on several of the trucks on the Hoover Dam project. There are only 3 moulds in existence of the size shown in the picture.
