WILL PLEASE COME TO ORDER. WELCOME TO THIS SPECIAL MEETING OF THE STOCKHOLDERS OF UTAH
INTERNATIONAL INC. CALLED FOR THE PURPOSE OF
CONSIDERING THE PROPOSED MERGER WITH GENERAL
ELECTRIC COMPANY. I AM EDMUND W. LITTLEFIELD, CHAIRMAN OF THE BOARD AND CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER, ON MY RIGHT ARE ALEXANDER M, WILSON, PRESIDENT AND CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER AND A DIRECTOR AND BRUCE T. MITCHELL, SECRETARY OF THE COMPANY.
