"# 690 Pile and trestle bridge crossing the Colorado
River, approximately 11 miles above the damsite on the railroad, leading to the gravel pits on the Arizona side of the river. This bridge is 37 feet above the water-level shown in the pic¬ture and is approximately 840 feet long. December 24th, 1931.

# 734 A view of the upstream steel suspension bridge located 300 feet above the upper portals of the Arizona diversion tunnels. This bridge is 20 feet wide, with a 16-foot roadway and is approx¬imately 6 feet above the estimated high-water level, and 47 feet above the water level shown in the picture. This bridge will be used to carry excavated muck from the upper portals of the Arizona Diversion Tunnels and to convey mixed concrete and materials for the tunnel lining. January 1st, 1932.
# 744 Another view of the upstream steel suspension bridge. This bridge is supported by eight 2-inch steel cables and is capable of supporting four 18-ton trucks, with a headway of 34 feet, or three 30-ton trucks with a headway of 51 feet. The upstream portals of the Arizona Diversion Tunnels are shown in the background. January 1st, 1932."
