Dear John: As per Mr. Eccles’ request I herewith hand you four $1000.00 warrants, four $100.00 warrants, and one $500.00 warrant making a total of $4900.00 drawn against the treasurer of Logan, City Corporation, and for which you are to make me a check for $4508.00 making the cost to Mr. Eccles $.92 which the price he authorized me to pay for same. You will note that the first cupon is clipped off on August 1st, 1911, and Mr. Hill, from whom we got the warrants and who is a very good customer of ours, thinks that eight per cent is far to large discount on this payment and I have promised him that I would take the matter up with Mr. Eccles and see if some consideration could not be made in view of this fact. I will take this matter up personally with Mr. Eccles, however, so will not trouble you further in that direction.
