OFFICE OF ECCLES, SPENCER & CO., MANUFACTURERS OF LUMBER, SHINGLES, FLOORING, RUSTIC SIDING. DEALERS IN DRY GOODS, GROCERIES, ETC. ETC. Beaver Canyon, Idaho Sept 17 1887 D. Eccles Esq. Ogden Utah Dear Sir Wisconsin I will start back to Oregon about the 21st and remain there about 3 weeks when I will return here I will need some money out there this time and as I told Mr. Ramsey that I would try and borrow $10,000. for 6 months I think we had better get it we will not be able to draw more than $3000. from here this month and probably about the same next month. I think that I can get along this time with $5000. and $3000. of that we will take from ES&C? a/c and you make arrangements so I can draw $2000. more from the 1st National Bank and when I get out there I will draw up a note personally endorsed by Ramsey and myself payable to H. S. Young OFFICE OF ECCLES, SPENCER & CO., MANUFACTURERS OF LUMBER, SHINGLES, FLOORING, RUSTIC SIDING. DEALERS IN DRY GOODS, GROCERIES, ETC. ETC. Beaver Canyon, Idaho,____________188 What I want is simply this I want to overdraw ES&Co a/c this month $2000. and then I will draw $3000 from my Bank a/c which will be about the amount we will have in there to our credit. Then loan this amt $5000 to Spencer Ramsey Sr for 6 month @ 10% pr. annum payable to H. S. Young and you hold the note until it matures when you can put it in the bank for collection. I think this would be the best way to do it – what do you say – please write me by return mail and give me your views Very Respy H H Spencer
