Mr. Fred M. G. Sullivan Gerente Administrativo Placer Mexicana, S. A. De C. V. Mexico 6, D. F.
Dear Fred:
Again, I want to tell you how much we enjoyed meeting you last week and appreciate your generous help in getting us off to a good start. Both Hugh and I know that the material and references you pulled together should make our task both easier and more objective.
Following our visits with you we had a full day at the Hylsa Steel Mill in Puebla. This proved very interesting and also we met some fine people. It is an impressive operation and encouraging to see progress in expanding domestic production of steel.
We have returned to a real heat wave here in San Francisco - a new record with temperatures around 100. This is a bit hard to take in traditionally air conditioned San Francisco.
We are still talking about Bellinghans attractive restaurant and our pleasant visit over lunch. The next time I come down t have promised to bring Mrs. Bourret along so that she will have an opportunity of meeting Mrs. Sullivan.
With sincere appreciation and thanks for your help.
Yours sincerely,
Weston Bourret Vice President
