Mr. Philip B. Dettmer Apdo. Postal 31-243 Guadalajara 5, Jalisco Mexico
Dear Phil:
Hugh and I certainly profited by our four days in Mexico and have returned with a tremendous amount of material to digest.
The visit to Puebla proved rewarding and we have you to thank for this invitation. Incidentally, I have written to all of the individuals who contributed to our pleasure on that occasion.
Shortly after my return I had a telephone call from R. P. Litton, Director of International Sales for Swindell-Dressler. This was quickly followed up by literature reports and technical material on the HyL process. All of this, of course, has proved valuable through indicating that the mini steel plant is here to stay.
At the present time I am trying to collect Annual Reports on Mexican mining companies in an effort to review their financial performance. If it is all right with you, I would like to retain your book on doing business in Mexico for a few more days.
I only wish that we could have spent more time with you, however, under the circumstances I feel that we did very well. Please write me when you have worked out your long-range plans for continuing in Mexico.
Yours sincerely,
Weston Bourret Vice President
