The charts and graphs are self-explanatory. The comment on Mexicanization on page 29 is significant. The ASAR Co. Mexicana and Minera Frisco are equal or better in Roadection and exparpion activities. The editorial by Harry Taylor which appeared in our local paper (shipco) is misleading. I know of no large silver-mud investment by Amaumeta in Mexico. The senio quoted suggest that amaemda gave up 51% of a venture in copper. The seranble for iron ore antuneas in Mexico. Many thanks for your thoughtfulness in calling my attention to the Penoles annual report. This has proved helpful and we are today writing to the Secretary of the Penoles company with the request that Utah be placed on the regular mailing list to receive future reports.
The comments on Mexicanization appear encouraging - at least for the Mexican shareholders.
No doubt Henry Taylor must be referring to the Anaconda operation at Cananea, which is of course the largest copper producer in Mexico.
Through friends in Mexico City I am contacting the Director of the Chamber of Mines, Mr. Eduardo Gonzalez Guerrier, for information on copper exploration.
