Image Captions	AMBULANCE BLANKET HIGHLY APPRECIATED Sent to E. A. Littlefield in France by Former Schoolmates. Special to The Tribune.OGDEN, Aug 10. Miss Blanche Barton, 774 Twenty fifth street, a member of the algebra class of the Ogden high school, who sent a black and orange ambulance blanket to E. A. (Ted) Littlefield, driver of an ambulance with the American expeditionary forces in France, received a letter from Mr. Littlefield acknowledging the receipt of the blanket.In the early part of June Mr. Littlefield was decorated with the cross of war by the French government. He went to France in May, 1917, as a volunteer ambulance driver for the French army and later joined the American forces.The letter, which is dated June 30, is as follows,B algebra class fourth period Dear Friends, Can't thank you enough for the wonderful ambulance blanket which I received yesterday. It is fine, and we of the O. H. S. know what these colors stand for.Arrived at the right time, too, as we are in the mountains and it gets mighty cool. The blanket will see plenty of service.For those good wishes, thanks a lot. As ever, TED LITTLEFIELD. Miss Barton says that as the members of the class are on their vacations at the present she will preserve the letter until school opens, at which time the letter will be presented to the class.
