Description	This collection contains a diary, personal letters and photos of Edmond Arthur Littlefield principally from his service in the American Field Service during World War I. Other items include pre and post WWI letters and photos.

Image Captions	OGDEN MAN HONORED. TED LITTLEFIELD. One of four members of an Ogden family now in the Entente and American service, has been awarded one of the prized war decorations for valorous service In France. His decoration Is the first of a Utah man serving with the armies In Europe and it brings a distinction to the state and the city, as well as to the young man himself. The four_3 brothers of the Littlefield family showed their thorough patriotism when they decided to enter the war service. Ted did the unusual, however, becoming a motor driver in the ambulance corps, taking a task that was certain to quickly put him into active duty with the first line units. Such an attitude on the part of an American is distinguishing in itself, yet Littlefield must have done much more to bring the much desired war decoration that he secured. His record is one that Utah people will point to with pride, anticipating that other Utah men will follow equally valorous action.
