The animals were used with women guards in patrolling warehouse areas at night and with enlisted men in guarding POW camp areas. At the Utah Depot it was found that one dog accompanied by a woman guard could patrol an area formerly requiring two men guards. Archived TIFF images were scanned by Jamie Weeks at 300 dpi with an Epson Expression 10000XL scanner. Digital images were reformatted in Photoshop. JPG and PDF files were then created for general use.
